Sweet, Sparkly, and Made by Hand

Crystal candy is a treat with roots in many Asian cultures, passed down for generations. Each piece is hand made and hand cut from a handful of simple ingredients: sugar, water, agar agar, flavoring, and all-natural colors.

What makes it special is the texture. Each candy has a delicate, crystal-like shell that crunches when you bite in, with a soft jelly center. It isn’t like anything else in the candy aisle. The shell takes about two weeks to cure, so every piece is worth the wait.

Our Story

Sparkles began in a home kitchen. In early 2023, our founder, Stephanie, was working full time, had just moved to a new state, and was raising a toddler with a new baby on the way. Making crystal candy became her creative outlet. What started as a small Etsy shop selling boxes of 6 or 12 pieces grew faster than anyone expected, and retailers soon began asking to carry the candy in their stores.

As demand grew, Stephanie wanted room to keep creating and experimenting, so she rebranded and launched Sparkles. Every month we release 10 limited edition flavors on the 10th at 10 PM EST. Once they’re gone, they’re gone, which keeps our flavors fresh, creative, and always a little surprising.

In December 2025, we opened our storefront. Our candy is made, packed, and shipped from the same space, and our growing team still makes each batch with the same care as that first kitchen table.
